The girlfriend then replied to say that ‘he’ was going to bring something else to the motel. Curious, the college girl asked what toys the guy would bring. The girlfriend then revealed her ruse and sent a picture of a gun, a knife, an even bigger knife, and a pair of scissors, all while threatening to kill the college student for trying to sleep with her man.

Let’s just hope that this life lesson stuck with this college girl and blood wasn’t actually shed.

The guy was understandably hurt and outraged by his ex’s sudden confession. He realized later on that he had been blocked by his ex on Facebook, which hindered his attempts to tag her Facebook profile in his rant. Nonetheless, he still vented out his outrage on social media and accompanied it with the screenshot of his ex-girlfriend’s confession.

“Habang ako’y nasa barko at umaasa naman pala sa wala. Habang nagtatrabaho ako, siya naman yung nagpatrabaho sa iba. Hahaha! Okay lang. Masaya ka na eh, sa mga panloloko mo sa akin.”

The seaman added that he was not really interested in contacting her new boyfriend, saying that it’d be a waste of his time. He also advised his readers not to imitate what she did to him.

“Nakakabastos ka. Di moa lam ang nararamdaman ko habang di ka makausap. Pero salamat. Sana wag pamarisan ang tulad mong babae… Pinatunayan mo lang [na] SEAMAN na talaga ang niloloko ngayon.”

Dad collecting coins for baby’s P 2-M operation Liver Transplant

A man named Jeric Testre proves that every coin counts as he counted all the coins that he had saved for his daughter’s operation. A photo of him showing how he counted all the coins, quickly went viral online.

For a father who needs 2 million Pesos, every coin that he has matters, especially with the fact that the P2-M will be used for his 11-month-old daughter’s operation.

On Facebook, the photo of Jeric Testre counting the centavo coins for his Baby Esang who needs an immediate operation, quickly went viral online. Instead of begging for money, Testre chose to count all the 5, 10, and 25 centavo coins. The photo both broke and touched the hearts of the netizens online.

“Biliary atresia po ang sakit ng bata…. Liver transplant is the only cure for Baby Esang. It costs P1.6 million, to be done in Apollo Hospital in New Delhi,” LITRO (LIver TRansplant Operation) Babies Philippines, Inc. founder Jenny Sumalpong told Manila Bulletin in an exclusive interview. Baby Esang is one of the 64 “LITRO babies.”

According to the reports, Biliary atresia is a condition wherein the bile ducts outside and inside the liver are being blocked. That being said, Bile cannot flow into the intestines and so the bile builds up in the liver, causing further damage that leads to scarring, loss of liver tissue and function, and cirrhosis.

The Facebook user named Jenny, who posted the photo of Testre counting all the coins, wrote: “Parang dinudurog puso ko. Nagbibilang ng centavo sa mismong ospital para makaipon lang ng pampa-opera ng anak,” she said.

Unfortunately, despite that the post quickly went viral, they still failed to collect P2-M. So far, they’ve just earned a total of P200,000. The number of coins and bills collected included the below minimum wage income of Testre’s wife and the donations from the people who were touched by his story.

Aside from the P1.6-M that he would need for the operation, he’d also need hundreds and thousands for them to be able to take the baby to India because the operation could be cheaper, plus with the higher survival rates.

“Doon [India] po ang mura at doon ang mataas ang survival rate. Taiwan [operation] costs P4 million. P4.5 million dito (It’s cheaper in India and the survival rate is higher. Taiwan operation costs P4 million. Here in the Philippines, it’s P4.5 million),” Jenny said.

Since Testre was despearate to complete the money needed for Baby Esang’s operation, he decided to count all the coins that he has.

“Ang batang may sakit na ganito usually ‘di na aabot ng two years old. Urgent na si Esang. Naisipan na mag-ipon ng centavos dahil desperate na (The doctor said children who have this illness usually do not reach the age of two. Esang is an urgent case. Her father thought of saving coins because they are desperate already),” Jenny said.

Jenny also told Manila Bulletin that they believe that saving every coin would make a change.

“Nasa hospital po kami noon at iyon lang po ang nakita kong paraan para po at least may maitabi po kami para po sa operasyon po ng bata (We were at the hospital then and that was the only way to at least save something for the child’s operation),” he said.

“Mahal na mahal po namin ang bata…. Wala pong magulang na matitiis po ang anak na nagdudusa sa sakit po at wala pong gagawin para sa anak nila upang mabuhay (We love her so much. No parent can endure the pain of seeing his/her child suffering from an illness without doing anything to extend the child’s life),” he expressed.

While a lot of people tend to ignore a single centavo, there’s this Testre family who badly needed every centavo.

“If you have centavos na naiipon, puwede po ba bigay n’yo na lang for Baby Esang?” Jenny asked.

A 'Pregnant Man" Finally Gets Rid Of His 15 kg Swollen Belly

A man let a benign stomach tumor to grow for 12 years until it left him looking PREGNANT.

A man from the Leshan City in the Sichuan Province was tagged as the ‘pregnant man’ because of the huge swelling in his belly. It was back in 2004 when he felt severe pain in his stomach. He thought that it was nothing but an ordinary pain so he decided to ignore it.

Zhang Cheng, from China, first became aware of the abdominal benign tumour in 2004.

Apart from that, he also thought that going to the hospital would be pretty expensive so he chose to rely on natural medicines to try and cure the pain that he’s experiencing. However, after 2 years, he was surprised because he felt the pain again so he got himself checked.

But unable to afford surgery to have it removed, he left it to grow and grow for more than a decade until it expanded to massive proportions.

Apparently, the pain that the so-called pregnant man isn’t far from nothing because it was a tumor. The tumor inside him has been growing big that it needed to be removed.

But then, again, instead of allowing the doctors to heal him, the pregnant man continued to take in traditional medicines.

After 10 years, he ended up carrying a tumor that’s as huge as the size of a beach ball, making it appear like he’s a pregnant man. He then carries a whopping 15kg tumor!

When it eventually began to threaten his health, however, the 33-year-old was talked into borrowing a large sum of cash to pay for its removal.

Doctors urged him to have the tumor removed, or it might cause further complications to his body. But because of the risks the surgery might bring, doctors across China refused to take him in. The Military General Hospital in Chengdu, Sichuan province was the only hospital willing to save him.

The surgery took 6 hours with the help of a team of experts from three medical departments from the said hospital. Luckily for him, he survived the surgery and may now live normally.

But Doctor Dai said Zhang is not out of the woods yet.

The medic said: "Due to the tumour’s position the surgery was extremely risky. There was a high chance of heavy bleeding.

"The patient is now being kept in the intensive care unit for further observation."

Zhang had hoped the tumour could be suppressed with traditional remedies, but his decision not to operate saw the tumour grow bigger and bigger until he ended up carrying it around like an unborn child.

What if we told you that there’s a rare creature that comes close to these mythical creatures? Meet the olm, a tiny dragon-like creature that lives in caves deep underground.

An olm or proteus anguinus is an aquatic salamander that can be seen exclusively in the caves of Europe. It’s especially found in the Dinaric Alps, mountain ranges which stretch from Italy to Slovenia. According to Edge of Existence.org, the olm can survive without food for up to 10 years and can live up to a hundred years. The creature is a part of an ancient lineage of amphibians evolving independently for 190 million years. This rare species is currently under threat caused by pollution and habitat disturbance.

Southern Slovenia’s Soča River basin is where these strange creatures can be found. Locals have nicknamed them “human fish” because their skin looks more like a human’s than an amphibian’s. An olm can grow up to 25 – 35 centimeters long. One of their most noticeable features is their gills, which can be seen sticking out of their head. These tiny salamanders spend their whole lives underwater thanks to their gills.

All olms are albino creatures. They sport no pigments because their subterranean habitat has no light coming from the outside. These unusual creatures are also mute and blind, again, due to their dark underground environment. They find their way around the dark using so-called electroreceptors. These allow them to detect the electric fields emitted by other animals. With their long body and tiny arms and legs, they look just like baby dragons!
